About the project
Aldridge Air Conditioning was engaged to design and install a comprehensive air conditioning system for the Tesco Port Erin store in the Isle of Man. This project focused on ensuring efficient climate control for various areas within the facility, including the manager’s office, cash office, confidential room, colleague room, and sales floor.
Premium Equipment: Utilised high-quality Daikin air conditioning systems, with Aldridge Air Conditioning being a Daikin Business Solutions Partner. All equipment came with a 7-year manufacturer’s parts warranty.
Comprehensive Service: Delivered extensive air conditioning installations, ensuring efficient climate control across the store.
Expert Installation: Ensured all installations were performed according to the supplied drawings, with pipework and control systems effectively integrated.

Services provided
Supplied and installed Daikin wall-mounted split systems for the manager’s office, cash office, confidential room, and colleague room.
Installed Daikin 14KW cassette split systems for the sales floor area.
Ran pipework on containment throughout the ceiling void as instructed.
Installed refrigeration pipework with Class ‘0’ insulation and PVC gravity drains to local drain stacks via waterless traps.
Provided Daikin KRP boards to interface with the fire alarm shutdown and on/off procedure.
Installed coastal coating to all outdoor units for protection against the coastal environment.
Conducted pressure testing, evacuation, charging of refrigerant circuits, and commissioning of all systems to ensure optimal performance.
Supplied and installed wall-mounted controllers for each room as required, managing control wiring for air-conditioning and central control systems.
