About the project
Aldridge Air Conditioning was contracted to design and install a comprehensive air conditioning system for the Amazon DBN5 facility in Bognor Regis. This project involved the installation of Mitsubishi VRV systems to ensure efficient and reliable climate control across various sections of the facility.
Premium Equipment: Utilised high-quality Mitsubishi air conditioning systems, with Aldridge Air Conditioning being a Mitsubishi Business Solutions Partner. All equipment came with a 7-year manufacturer’s parts warranty.
Advanced Control Systems: Implemented state-of-the-art centralised control systems for efficient management and integration with the building management system (BMS).
Complete Service: Provided a thorough service from installation to commissioning, ensuring all systems were fully operational and optimised.
HOW WE HELPED
Services provided
Supplied and installed 15 Fan Coil Units (FCUs) on one Mitsubishi standard efficiency VRV (CU/OF/01) system.
Supplied and installed 10 FCUs on another Mitsubishi standard efficiency VRV (CU/OF/02) system.
Mounted condensing units on Big Foot systems with drip trays and coastal protection.
Equipped all FCUs with PIR sensors.
Installed refrigeration pipework with Class ‘0’ insulation and PVC gravity drains to local drain stacks via waterless traps.
Supplied and installed wall-mounted controllers in each room, linked to a centralised controller complete with a BACnet pin code for BMS integration.
Conducted pressure testing, evacuation, charging of refrigerant circuits, and commissioning of systems.
