About the project
Aldridge Air Conditioning was tasked with designing and installing a comprehensive air conditioning and mechanical ventilation system for The Bond in Birmingham. This project involved advanced climate control solutions for various floors and rooms, ensuring optimal indoor air quality and comfort.
Premium Equipment: Utilized high-quality Daikin air conditioning systems, with Aldridge Air Conditioning being a Daikin D1 partner. All equipment came with a 7-year manufacturer’s parts warranty.
Advanced Control Systems: Implemented Daikin ‘I’ Manager for comprehensive control and monitoring of the air conditioning and ventilation systems.
Comprehensive Service: Delivered end-to-end service from design to installation, including all necessary mechanical and electrical works.
HOW WE HELPED
Services provided
Installed a Daikin Heat Pump system with 11 Daikin One Way Blow Units connected to 2 Heat Pump Condensing Units.
Mounted necessary refrigeration pipework on galvanized basket/tray.
Installed a Daikin Heat Recovery System with 10 Ducted Fan Coil Units fed via a branch selector box and a Heat Recovery Condensing Unit.
Installed Daikin Heat Recovery Systems with Cassette Fan Coil Units fed via a branch selector box and a Heat Recovery Condensing Unit for each floor.
Installed Daikin Heat Recovery VAM units for the Ground to Fourth Floors.
Provided ventilation for toilets from the basement to the third floor with twin extract fans and kitchens with inline extract fans.
Installed extract fans in the Toll House and Gatehouse for toilets and kitchen areas.
Equipped the air conditioning system with individual remote controllers linked to a Daikin ‘I’ Manager.
Positioned condensing units externally on Big Foot Systems.
Conducted refrigerant commissioning of the air conditioning systems.
Balanced primary ventilation for fresh air, extract, and toilet extract systems.
Provided client demonstrations and witnessing.
