WHAT WE DID
About the project
Aldridge Air Conditioning was commissioned to design and install a comprehensive air conditioning system for Unit 2 at the Nuneaton site. This project involved implementing advanced Mitsubishi HVRF systems to ensure efficient climate control across various office spaces and technical rooms.
Premium Equipment: Utilized high-quality Mitsubishi air conditioning systems, with Aldridge Air Conditioning being a Mitsubishi Business Solutions Partner. All equipment came with a 7-year manufacturer’s parts warranty.
Advanced Control Systems: Implemented state-of-the-art centralized control systems to ensure optimal climate management across various building zones.
Comprehensive Service: Provided end-to-end service from design to installation, including all necessary mechanical and electrical works.
HOW WE HELPED
Services provided
Installed 79 Fan Coil Units (FCUs) on ten Mitsubishi HVRF systems as per the VRF equipment schedule.
Mounted condensing units on Big Foot systems, including drip trays directed to local floor gullies in the plant deck areas.
Installed three Mitsubishi wall-mounted split systems serving the comms room in the south hub office, with condensing units mounted on anti-vibration feet.
Installed VRV systems for multiple office areas.
Supplied and installed VRV systems for both the north and south hub offices.
Supplied and installed AE-200 centralized controllers and EW50 centralized controllers, complete with BACnet pin codes for open protocol BMS integration.
Installed PACSJ95 interfaces for the split systems.
Installed leak detection systems, including 25 standalone semiconductor refrigerant detectors with remote sensors and 24V DC transformers.
Installed two VRF automatic pump-down control panels to manage condensing units in the event of a leak.
Conducted pressure testing, evacuation, refrigerant charging, and commissioning of systems.
Supplied four Mitsubishi Lossnay heat exchanger units for the north and south hubs.
Provided control wiring for air-conditioning and allowed for access equipment up to 4 meters.
